Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026
Voliturn is built privacy-first. The short version: your data stays on your device, we don't have accounts, and we don't run servers that collect your information.
What we collect
Nothing is sent to us. Voliturn does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information. There are no user accounts and no sign-up.
What stays on your device
Everything you do in the app — your active routine, habit check-offs, adopted goals, streaks, flames, and reminder settings — is stored locally on your iPhone using the system's on-device storage. We cannot see it, and it never leaves your device unless you choose a feature that explicitly syncs it (see iCloud below).
Notifications
If you turn on reminders (the daily reminder or the streak-saver nudge), Voliturn schedules local notifications directly on your device. These are generated and delivered on-device and are not routed through any server of ours.
Analytics & tracking
None. Voliturn contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not use cookies or identifiers to follow you across apps or websites.
iCloud (optional, future features)
A planned "shared streak with a friend" feature will use Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) to sync a small amount of completion data between you and a friend you invite. When and if you use it, that data is handled through your own iCloud account under Apple's privacy terms. We still operate no servers of our own and never see your routine contents.
Children's privacy
Voliturn is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. Because we don't collect personal information at all, this is naturally the case.
Deleting your data
You can erase everything at any time from the app's You tab using "Reset all progress," or by deleting the app from your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and post the revised version on this page.
